Sharp's Crusade
Senator Ron Sharp is in a bill-writing frenzy and Charter Schools are his big target, this session. We're studying his multiple bills and highlighting the legislation which would lock your kids into the public school district unless the family makes an exodus before October first. This would put children into potential risk in violent situations. Each year, many families respond to social crisis or health needs by opting out of one public school and enrolling in a safer and more workable learning environment. Ron Sharp's SB82 locks all kids into a district and gives the only key to that failing district's administrators.
